Books and Study Resources
I highly recommend Rita Mulcahy’s PMP prep book.* It’s thorough and will prepare you with tools and frameworks for passing the exam like I did on your first try! Use this Exam Prep guide like a textbook to understand the all aspects of project management. I think this book is especially helpful for traditional project management (AKA “Waterfall”) concepts.
These cards* were KEY to success. Seriously, I remember taking them with me everywhere - errands, dog walks, doctor appointments, etc. Every moment of downtime is essential for studying!
Speaking of studying on-the-go, the Professional Pocket Prep app was a life-saver for me too! This app helps you prep for the exam questions, while the Perfect PMP Exam Prep flashcards assist with helping you in memorizing concepts.
